Fees

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Fees are discussed during our initial consultation, when I can describe what working together would actually look like and answer any questions you have about the practical realities of the work.

Upon request, I provide superbills — detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many insurance plans reimburse a portion of out-of-network mental health services, though coverage varies. If this is relevant to you, I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits before our first session. Psychoanalytic work is a meaningful financial commitment. I would rather discuss what this looks like for you in our first conversation than reduce it to a number on a website.

Practical Matters

Practical information for those considering working with me.

Session length and frequency

Sessions are 45 minutes. I see patients on a weekly basis at minimum, and more frequently for those in psychoanalysis. I work with adults only.

Cancellation policy

Because the time we set aside is reserved exclusively for you, I require 48 hours' notice for any cancellation. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are billed at the full session fee. This policy is consistent with standard psychoanalytic practice and is part of what makes the continuity of the work possible.

Beginning

In-person and telehealth

I see patients in person at my office in Coral Gables, in the Plumer Building at 5915 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Suite 19. I also see patients via secure telehealth.

As a licensed psychologist in Florida and a holder of PsyPact authorization, I am able to see patients via telehealth in many U.S. states beyond Florida. A current list of PsyPact participating states is available on request.

If the practical realities described here work for you, the next step is a first conversation. We talk, we get a sense of one another, and you decide whether to begin.
