**Previous Positions after being licensed in Florida**
My professional journey has included several enriching experiences. I served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where I taught and supervised students in the Doctoral Program in Psychology. This role allowed me to contribute to the development of emerging psychologists.
I also worked as a clinical supervisor at the Institute for Individual and Family Counseling within the Department of Education and Psychological Studies. In this capacity, I guided and supported staff psychologists, helping them refine their clinical skills. Additional information can be found at [http://umiifc.com/staff-psychologists/].
Earlier in my career, I was the mental health counselor at the New World School of the Arts College in Miami Dade. I helped students with personal struggles and supported their mental health at a critical juncture in their lives by offering counseling services.
During my time with Citrus Health Network, I worked as a staff psychologist in the KIVA program. In this role, I diagnosed, developed treatment plans, and provided therapy for unhoused individuals and those with dual diagnoses in the Miami and Miami Beach areas. The KIVA program is dedicated to serving the homeless population, offering comprehensive mental health services to those who are often underserved. My responsibilities included outreach, crisis intervention, and ongoing therapeutic support to help clients navigate complex challenges related to mental health and substance abuse.
